Dr. Scott Jeffrey Trimas, M.D., FACS
Dr. Scott Trimas has been an established, respected and reputable member of the Ponte Vedra, Jacksonville, and Fernandina Beaches community since 1994. Dr. Trimas received his undergraduate degree with a Summa Cum Laude honor from Vanderbilt University in 1984. He then attended University of Florida Medical School and graduated with honors in 1988. He continued his internship and residency at the University of Florida in 1993 and fellowship at the University of Toronto in 1994. Dr. Trimas is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Following his education and certifications Dr. Scott Trimas founded Beaches Facial Plastic and Nasal Surgery Center in Jacksonville Beach. He is also the medical director of Atlantic Surgery Center of Jacksonville Beach where most of his procedures are performed. Dr. Trimas chose facial plastic surgery as his specialty due to his ability to enhance natural beauty and pay attention to fine detail. Secondary to an individual’s overall personality is their appearance. However, appearance plays a large role in enriching personality and poise. He recognizes the importance of facial appearance as a factor in self-confidence, self-awareness and self-worth.
Dr. Trimas is an avid believer in utilizing new technology and is continually integrating new equipment, techniques, treatments, and skin care products into his practice. He is actively updating his knowledge and skills with the swiftly changing cosmetic industry by attending conferences, meetings, and training events. Dr. Trimas also provides training opportunities to physicians on the proper use of Botox and is sponsored by the Botox Cosmetic Network Perceptorship Training Program.
Dr. Scott Trimas is also an active member of the Face to Face Organization. Face to Face is an organization that gives women the financial support to correct facial deformities caused by severe abuse and trauma. It is a necessary program that provides an opportunity for women to regain their confidence by not only erasing their scars, but the past well.
On a personal note, Dr. Trimas was born in New York City and grew up in Miami. After completing his training Dr. Trimas resides in Ponte Vedra Beach with his wife and three children. He also enjoys cycling, football, and stamp collecting.
Dr. Scott Trimas and his staff excel in providing patient satisfaction, comfort, trust, and confidence. The overall staff is involved in aiding individuals to feel completely knowledgeable and comfortable with their decision for surgery or treatments through quality patient education. There is always someone readily available to discuss any concerns or questions.
Dr. Trimas is a member of the Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
