About Dr. Todd A. Kupferman

Originally raised on Long Island, New York, Dr. Kupferman received his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in 2001. Through his hard work and dedication he graduated among the top of his class and was selected to the very prestigious AOA National Medical School Honor Society. Dr. Kupferman was accepted into the very competitive field of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery (Ear, Nose, and Throat). Dr. Kupferman went through residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSU-HSC) in Shreveport, Louisiana. After completing his general surgery internship in 2002, he went on to complete his ENT residency in 2006, serving as a chief resident in his final year.

Dr. Kupferman received a well rounded experience in the field of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery from his residency training. He became proficient in the full spectrum of the medical and surgical treatment of the disorders affecting the ears, nose, sinuses, throat, vocal cords, scalp, face, and neck. This allows him to provide a wide range of options to help his patients, including: allergy medications and shots; middle ear surgery to cure infection and possibly restore hearing or balance; sinus medications and surgery; nasal surgeries to improve nasal breathing; medications and surgery to restore voice to patients and help with swallowing; sleep and snoring surgery; excision and reconstruction of skin cancers of the scalp, face, and neck; as well as cancers of the nose, mouth, throat, voice box, neck, and thyroid gland.

During his training he also worked very closely with the Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at LSU-HSC to gain competence in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery. In addition, he worked closely with his chairman who is internationally recognized for his work on Rhinoplasty and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Due to the exposure to his great mentors, Dr. Kupferman gained valuable hands-on experience in performing many aspects of Facial Plastic Surgery including: Face Lifts (both full and mini face lifts), Brow Lifts (endoscopic, coronal, and indirect), Blepharoplasty (eye job), Rhinoplasty (nose job), Otoplasty (ear job), Mid-Face Lift / Suspension, Submentoplasty (with and without liposuction), Chin Augmentation, Cleft Lip and Palate Repair, Excision and Reconstruction of Facial and Scalp Defects (with skin grafts and local flaps), Scar Revision, Skin Resurfacing (using laser, chemical peels, and dermabrasion), Lip Augmentation, and Botox injections.

Dr. Kupferman has a strong interest in furthering knowledge in his field of ENT. He has been invited to present his numerous research projects across the nation and several of his works have been published in the ENT literature.

Dr. Kupferman currently sees patients in two offices which serve the northern part of South Florida's Broward County; one office is located in Margate, FL and the other in Lighthouse Point, FL. He is able to provide complete in-office evaluation and treatment of sino-nasal allergies, hearing, balance, voice, and swallowing disorders.
