Michael Stampar D.O. is a board certified ENT and Facial Plastic surgeon who started in private practice in 1988 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. He graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic medicine and received awards for outstanding student in medicine in 1983. He completed a rotating internship followed by his residency in ENT and Facial Plastic surgery that included training with nationally recognized experts in his field.

After 9 successful years of private practice in Michigan he moved to Port Charlotte, Florida with his wife Cathy Criss D.O., a board certified family practitioner. He has expanded his practice to include offices in Punta Gorda and Northport and now performs non-surgical cosmetic procedures at Spago Dayspa, Salon, and Medispa, which he purchased in September of 2006.

Although Dr. Stampar has hospital privileges for all his cosmetic procedures, all cosmetic surgical procedures previously performed in the office will be done at the spa as well. Prior to all facelift, eyelid, and liposuction procedures patients will be treated to a relaxing massage to reduce the anxiety most people feel just before surgery. Dr. Stampar has been doing office based plastic surgical surgeries since 1988 and has had no major complications.

Dr. Stampar is a member of the AOA as well as his osteopathic specialty society and has delivered a number of educational lectures to them over the years and trained residents in his specialty for 9 years.

The doctor currently trains board certified plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and other facial plastic surgeons in using Radiesse and Sculptra-the most advanced volume replacement fillers available.

Dr. Stampar is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and his state medical society. He has also been a director of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and was the head of the leadership division for four years.

Dr. Stampar also serves as chief medical officer of SinoFresh Healthcare Inc., maker of SinoFresh Nasal and Sinus Care Spray.
